INGREDIENTS

3 tbsp Hondashi®

2 tsp salt

2⅔ tbsp sugar

4 oz soy sauce

6 oz deep‑fried fish cakes

6 oz daikon radish, 1 in slices

3 oz atsuage (deep‑fried tofu), cubed

2 oz goboten (fish cakes with burdock root)

2 oz chikuwa (tube‑shaped fish cakes), sliced on a bias

2 oz tsumire (fish balls)

1 oz ganmodoki (deep‑fried tofu & vegetable fritter)

5 boiled eggs

DIRECTIONS
1. In a large pot over medium heat, combine water, Hondashi®, salt, sugar, and soy sauce; bring to a boil.
2. Reduce to a simmer and add fish cakes, daikon, atsuage, goboten, chikuwa, tsumire, ganmodoki, and boiled eggs.
3. Simmer for 5 minutes, then serve hot.
