Japanese Style Mushroom Spaghetti
An elegant fusion of Italian pasta and Japanese flavors: al dente spaghetti tossed with crispy bacon, tender shimeji mushrooms, and a silky butter‑soy‑sake sauce accented by a touch of Hondashi®. Finished with nori and scallions, this dish is richly savory yet light on the palate.

INGREDIENTS
6 Oz – Spaghetti, Cooked
3 ½ Oz – Shimeji Mushrooms, Cut Into Small Pieces
3 Strips – Bacon, Sliced
1 ½ Tbsp – Butter
2 Tsp – Soy Sauce
2 Tsp – Sake
1 Tsp – Hondashi®
1 Tbsp – Pasta Water, Reserved
To Taste – Salt
Garnish – Green Onion, Sliced
Garnish – Nori Seaweed
DIRECTIONS
1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add bacon and cook until brown, then add mushrooms and cook until done.
3. Add the spaghetti,soy sauce,sake, Hondashi® pasta water, and salt and mix well.
4. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
5. Add to a plate and garnish with green onions and nori and serve.
