Golden Garlic Fried Rice

A flavorful Japanese‑inspired fried rice studded with golden‑fried garlic chips, soft scrambled eggs, and bright parsley. Each grain is coated in a savory blend of soy and Hondashi®, giving this simple dish a deeply aromatic, umami punch-perfect as a satisfying main or accompaniment.

INGREDIENTS

2 Lb – Rice, Cooked
2 Whole – Eggs, Beaten
1 ⅓ Tsp – Soy Sauce
1 ½ Tsp – Hondashi®
3 Oz – Canola Oil
A Few Slices – Garlic, Sliced
1 Tsp – Garlic, Chopped
To Taste – Salt And Pepper
1 Tbsp – Parsley, Chopped
1 Tbsp – Green Onion, Shredded

HONDASHI® Bonito Soup Stock 2.11 oz Bottle

DIRECTIONS

1. In a small bowl mix soy sauce and hondashi until dissolved.
2. Heat canola on a pan over medium heat.
3. Add sliced garlic and cook until golden brown, then remove garlic from pan and set aside.
4. Add Chopped garlic to the pan and cook until golden brown.
5. Add eggs into the pan and cook until lightly scrambled.
6. Add rice to the pan and mix with the garlic and egg.
7. Add soy sauce and Hondashi® mixture, parsley, and season with salt and pepper.
8. Mix thoroughly and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
9. Top with toasted garlic slices and shredded green onion and serve.
