Dipping Sauce For Cold Udon/Soba

A versatile Japanese dipping sauce flavored with hondashi® and mirin—perfect for chilled udon or soba noodles.

INGREDIENTS

        • 1 qt water

        • ½ tbsp hondashi®

        • 1 tsp salt

        • ⅔ oz light soy sauce

        • ⅔ oz mirin

        • 5 servings prepared soba or udon noodles

HONDASHI® Bonito Soup Stock 2.11 oz Bottle

DIRECTIONS

1. In a small pot over medium heat, combine water, hondashi®, salt, light soy sauce, and mirin; bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool to room temperature.
3. Serve chilled alongside cold udon or soba noodles.
